Senior Project
BS in Engineering Technology Senior Project Information are as follows:
- Complete TECH 190A in Fall ONLY and TECH 190B in Spring ONLY of your senior year.
- After Fall 2023, prerequisites include ENGR 100W with a grade of C or better, and either (TECH 115, TECH 140, and TECH 147 for Manufacturing majors) OR (TECH 170 and TECH 171 for CNSM majors).
- If you declared your major prior to Fall 2023, only completion of lower-division major requirements, senior standing, and instructor consent are required.
- TECH 190A: First semester includes professional development, project proposal with feasibility plans, specifications, and written/oral reports.
- TECH 190B: Second semester focuses on building, testing, and validating the design from TECH 190A.
- Project spans two semesters from concept to prototype, with demonstrations and presentations to faculty and peers.
