Change of Major / Addition of Minor

If you are interested in changing your major to BA Design Studies (Graphic, Interior or Industrial Design) or adding a minor you must contact the assigned major advisor based on your last name and program. There is a short list of requirements that you must meet to be allowed into the Design Studies program. All students interested in BFA Graphic & Interior or BS Industrial Design begin as Design Studies students.

• 3.0 GPA is required to change your major to Design Studies
• Must be enrolled in 1-2 Design Studies courses (Please review roadmaps: Design Advising Forms
• Department recommends that students are less than 90 units when attempting to change their major to Design Studies
