Bio: Prior to working at SJSU, Guadalupe "Lupe" worked for four years as the bilingual secretary in the rectory of Our Lady of La Vang Parish, formerly Saint Patrick Proto-Cathedral Parish, a Vietnamese national parish and former cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose in California. Lupe joined the SJSU community initially within the School of Music and Dance, then transitioned into the College of Humanities and the Arts Office of the Dean, and is currently serving students at the Humanities & Arts Student Success Center.

While serving in various capacities, Lupe has had the opportunity to meet many amazing staff, faculty, and students. Lupe truly enjoys working with students and providing them with a positive experience.

Lupe has a passion for her Mexican heritage and culture, and during her free time Lupe enjoys crafting and spending time with friends.
