Advising
Academic advising creates opportunities for students to develop meaningful relationships with faculty and utilize helpful campus resources and opportunities. Advisors also review program requirements and ensure students are staying on track to meet all requirements.
How do I know who my advisor is?
After your application is complete, you will receive a letter of admission from our department with your faculty advisor's name and contact information. Students should schedule an initial meeting with their advisor within the first 30 days of admission and sign the Program Roadmap. For faculty info, visit our Faculty webpage. Please note students who begin in the credential program and then transfer to the MA program maintain their same advisor throughout.
