Spring 2024

Dates of Instruction: January 24 - May 13, 2024
Enrollment Census Date: February 20, 2024

The Spring 2024 class schedule was available on Tuesday, October, 24, 2023. Spring 2024 appointments showed on MySJSU on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Advance Registration for Continuing Students period began on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Registration for Non-SJSU students began on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Spring 2024 Final Exams are scheduled from Wednesday-Friday, May 15-17 and Monday-Tuesday, 20-21, 2024.

Spring 2024 Grades are viewable on MySJSU on Saturday, May 25, 2024. 

Spring 2024 Commencement was scheduled for Wednesday-Friday, May 22-24, 2024. 

Summer 2024

Session 1: June 3 - July 5, 2024 (first 5 weeks)
Session 1: June 3 - August 9, 2024 (10 weeks)
Session 2: July 8 - August 9, 2024 (last 5 weeks)

The Summer 2024 class schedule was available on Friday, March 22, 2024. Summer 2024 appointments for current SJSU students showed on MySJSU on Monday, April 8, 2024. Advance registration for Continuing Students began on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Registration for Non-SJSU students began on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Summer 2024 Final Exams are normally scheduled on the last day of class. 

Summer 2024 Grades are viewable on MySJSU on Saturday, July 13, 2024 (Session 1 5-week) and Saturday, August 17, 2024 (Session 1 10-week and Session 2 5-week)

SJSU does not offer summer commencement ceremonies.

Fall 2024

Dates of Instruction: August 21 - December 9, 2024
Enrollment Census Date: September 18, 2024

The Fall 2024 class schedule was available on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Fall 2024 appointments showed on MySJSU on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Advance Registration for Continuing Students period began on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Registration for Non-SJSU students begins on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Fall 2024 Final Exams are scheduled from Wednesday-Friday, December 11-13 and Monday-Tuesday, 16-17, 2024.

Fall 2024 Grades are viewable on MySJSU on Saturday, December 21, 2024. 

Fall 2024 Commencement is scheduled for Thursday-Friday, December 19-20, 2024 (dates are tentative and subject to change).
