Director Goals

• organize a research presentation event with professors to encourage students to join research groups

• advocate for adequate academic advising resources

• work with student-at-larges to understand and solve the problems that students are facing

• promote the completion of SOTES to provide feedback for professors

Director Responsibilities

• serve as the Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee

• serve as a Student Senator on the Academic Senate

• advocate by promoting University activities affecting the student educational experience

• work in coordination with College Representatives (members of the Academic Affairs Committee) to provide feedback to the Board of Directors and the Academic Senate and initiate changes in academic policies

• provide a liaison report on the activities of the Provost and Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation
