Dr. Hojeong Lee, Ph.D. teaches Media Studies at San José State University. She specializes in digital media culture, audience, transnational media, and cultural diversity. After earning a B.A. and M.A. in Korea, she moved to the U.S. and continued to study. She received her Ph.D. in Media and Communication at Klein College of Media and Communication, Temple University. Her work appears in peer-reviewed journals. She also has two book publications: one is a monograph, titled, Korean Digital Diaspora: Transnational Social Movements and Diaspora Identity, and the other is a co-edited book, Digital Media, Online Activism, Social Movements in Korea.
