About Professor Allison Martin:
Dr. Allison Martin works in the Department of Justice Studies at San Jose State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from The University of South Carolina. Her research examines police officer decision-making, neighborhood-level effects of policing, and crime prevention through environmental design. Her work has appeared in Police Practice and Research and the Journal of Criminal Justice.
