Through the generous contributions of supporters, foundations and alumni the Department of Economics is able to offer the Student-Faculty Partnership (SFP) program. This program matches students with faculty mentors to engage in research or teaching projects.

The Department’s Internship Program provides credit for work in an economics-related field.
Students who meet the requirements for Economics Department Honors are recognized by the University with an indication of “Honors” on both the student’s transcript and diploma.
The Department has three perpetual award plaques to recognize outstanding students and alumni. Faculty members nominate and select the award recipients: James F.
