Building Evacuation Teams

Building Emergency Team (BET)

The Building Emergency Team (BET) consists of trained SJSU employees who have accepted the responsibility to provide for the safe evacuation of buildings and to perform related safety duties during campus emergencies.

Each facility has a designated Senior Building Coordinator who helps to supervise and train their building's team.

If you are an SJSU employee and wish to volunteer as a member of your Building Emergency Team, contact UPD.
