How to Register for Classes

You will be added to Academic Success in the College of Engineering (Cohort 2023-2024), which is a Canvas container for your modules.   

Email success-engineering@sjsu.edu if you do not have access to this Canvas course by Monday, June 5, 2023. 

Enroll in an Early Start Course

Please check your email or MySJSU [pdf] if you are required to complete an Early Start course in Math or English.

Take the Precalculus Proficiency Assessment (PPA)

Even if you have taken the AP test for Calculus AB, we recommend taking the PPA if your AP score will NOT be posted on your SJSU account by your orientation date.  The system will NOT allow you to register for precalculus or calculus without completion of prerequisites.
