Third-Party Payers (Sponsorships)

Third Party Sponsors are organizations, businesses or departments that agree to sponsor a student or students by paying their tuition. Some common examples of sponsors are private and public organizations, trust accounts, foreign countries and government agencies.

A student needs to obtain a written notification from the sponsor specifying how much of the tuition they will cover and for which semesters. Students receiving confirmation must submit this letter of authorization to the Bursar's Office so the sponsor can be properly invoiced. Please retain a copy of the authorization for your records.

An Account Specialist will invoice the sponsor for tuition after the add/drop period as long as the sponsored student is registered and has submitted a current letter of authorization.
