Get your account ready. Create MySJSU account via Quick Admit.

Access Quick Admit (link available from 4/14 ~ July 10)

After 24-48 hours, activate your MySJSU account and use the blue MySJSU button on one.sjsu.edu. Please refer to the first-time user login guide and how to access your gmail guide when logging into your accounts for the first time. 

Class registration begins on Wednesday, April 16. The first day of instruction is on Monday, June 2 for Session 1 and Monday, July 7 for Session 2. Attend classes online or in person starting June 2 for Session 1 and July 7 for Session 2. 

Starting Wednesday, April 16, enroll in your class(es) in one of two ways:

• MySJSU. Add yourself to the class if you meet the pre-reqs and there is no waitlist. Add yourself to the waitlist if the class is full. If instructor consent is required, email the faculty for a permission number.
• DocuSign Open U registration form. Have your instructor add you to the waitlist if the class is full. Permission numbers are not necessary for form submissions.

Must have GAPE office approval for 200+ level classes. See our graduate student webpage for more information. 

Secure your spot in class. Submit payment for fees by the posted deadline. For other important registration and payment deadlines, visit our calendar webpage.

Get your account ready. Log into MySJSU starting the first day of registration to the last day to add (5/28), and enroll in your classes. Follow the steps below.

2. From the student center, on the navigation tab on the left hand side, select “Other items” at the bottom to expand the menu, then click "Open University Enrollment"
3. Choose “Open University Undergraduate" as the Program to Enroll if you have not earned a degree before OR “Open University PostBaccalaureate" if you have earned a degree
4. Select Summer 2025 as the term and click continue. A message “You have just been activated as an Open University student” will appear. Your account is now ready for registration.

As your first Open University semester, the Registrar Office will set up your account. Please fill out the google form in your DQ email from the Registrar Office or email, live chat. You will have to wait until you have receive a confirmation from the Registrar Office before you can start enrolling in classes.
