Lifeguarding
       Timpany Center offers Lifeguarding certification as an authorized              provider of the American Red Cross. Classes currently offered are as follows:

              Days/Time(s): Friday, April 25, 2025 - Sunday, April 27, 2025

Class Times:

Friday: 1:00-5:00pm (swim evaluations by appointment)

Saturday & Sunday: 9:30am-6:00pm

*Minimum of 4 participants required.

Course Format:

Blended Learning: 7 hours eLearning and 19 hours 45 minutes in-person (combines online coursework with in-person skills practice sessions).

This is an indoor, 92 degree pool!

American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED

American Red Corss program teaches knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies, give immediate care to an injured or ill person, and decide whether advanced medical care is needed.  This is a blended learning course.

Tuesday, December 10th from 10 am - 1 pm

Cost: $100

Blended Learning (online and in person)
2 year Certification with American Red Cross

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Our BLS curriculum includes all standard scientific learning objectives necessary in professional resuscitation courses, but also allows students to develop their critical thinking, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills, and work on reflection and debriefing, which serves to strengthen their overall learning and work experience. In addition, our courses are modular and flexible, and offer medical directors, educators and Red Cross training partners the ability to tailor courses to their local protocols, and their students' specific needs.

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross is designed for healthcare providers and public safety professionals and meets a variety of certification and licensing requirements.
