Announcing the Dean for the College of Graduate Studies 5-Year Review Committee

I am pleased to announce that we finalized the composition of the Review Committee for the College of Graduate Studies Dean, Dr. Marc d’Alarcao. These members have been appointed in accordance with University Policy S16-8, Section and Review of Administrators.

- Essy Barroso-Ramirez, Senior Assistant Librarian, University Library
- Allison Briceño, Associate Professor, Teacher Education
- Andrew Delunas, Lecturer, Philosophy
- Priya Kannan, Dean, College of Business
- Lisa Madieros, Graduate Student, Higher Education Leadership
- Marta Ramirez-Rodenas, Graduate and International English Advisor
- Mark Ammar Rayes, Lecturer, Computer Engineering
The committee will begin its work in the next few weeks with a review of the charge, establishment of a timeline, and review of the surveys that will go to those groups identified in the Policy. The Office of Institutional Research & Strategic Analytics (IRSA) will assist the committee with the administration of the surveys, data collection, and data analysis. The committee will prepare its findings in a final report to be delivered to the Provost before the end of the Fall 2025 semester.
