Our researchers empower robotic systems with AI-driven solutions to allow them to have human-like perceptions and make complex decisions. Meanwhile, we improve the safety and autonomy of robotic navigation through intelligent perception and novel algorithms.

Some of our advanced drone applications include assisting and guiding firefighters and incident commanders; GIS mapping and data collection; and AI-based bridge and road inspection using drones. Below is a rotating selection of our standout investigators in these areas.
