Fall 2024 Frosh Live-On Requirement Suspended
With a number of classes online for Academic Year 2024-2025, the University is suspending the Frosh Live-On requirement. No frosh will be required to live on campus during the 2024-2025 academic year. Mandatory Frosh do not need to complete and submit an exemption form.


Mandatory Meal Plans

Meal Plans are mandatory for all Suites residents. Housing rates will vary depending on the meal plan chosen. Campus Village Building C (CVC), also known as "The Suites" provides programming and support to help ease the transition of college life, in a more subdued setting. This is an ideal environment for students with intensive academic majors. Living in Campus Village Building C, you will also enjoy suite-style housing facilities with spacious floor plans and a variety of amenities that offer all the comforts of home and more.

Typical layout 

Double Rooms 

Double occupancy suites in Campus Village Building C include four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shared living area, and a kitchenette with a microwave. Double occupancy rooms have one set of twin, extra long beds, which can either be bunked or separated. Please note that beds are not furnished with pillows, blanket, or other linen.

Triple Rooms 

Triple occupancy suites in Campus Village Building C include four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shared living area, and a kitchenette with a mini-refrigerator and microwave. Triple occupancy rooms are double occupancy rooms that have lofted beds and a change in the floor plan to accommodate three residents. Only one room in the suite is a triple room. Triple rooms have one twin, extra long lofted bed and one set of twin, extra long bunk beds. Please note that beds are not furnished with pillows, blanket, or other linen. Triples are offered when occupancy demands are high.

Room Furnishings  

Double occupancy rooms are furnished with two of each of the following, (one of each for single rooms): extra long twin beds, desks, chairs, dressers, bookshelves, and closets. Each room includes one towel rack, wastebasket, and paper recycling bin. Floors are carpeted, and windows are furnished with blinds.  

Amenities

Campus Village is located on the south-east corner of campus and is a short walking distance to classes and Downtown San José.  Included in Campus Village is the Village Market which offers pizza, coffee, ice cream, and drinks.  Campus Village also offers cable television, a high speed internet connection with wireless service in the first floor RAC, and an on-site laundry facility. The Resident Activity Center (RAC) includes a gaming area with air hockey, ping pong, and pool. The RAC also has 4 meeting rooms which include a DVD player so you can watch the latest movies with your friends and classmates.  Although it is located in Campus Village, The RAC is open to residents from all buildings.

Parking

Campus Village features two levels of limited underground parking for students, and bicycle racks on either side of Building B.
