Password Help

First Time User

New Matriculated Students and Employees: As a first-time user, you must create a password before you can log in. Accounts have been created for all current faculty, staff, and students. Your SJSUOne account is automatically created and removed based on MySJSU records.
1. Go to SJSUOne Set/Reset Password.
2. Enter your 9-digit ID, and then follow the instructions to create a password.

Open University Students logging in for the first time should refer to the PACE website.

If it has been more than 24 months since the end of your last semester, you no longer have access to one.sjsu.edu. You can order your official transcript directly from SJSU Transcript Ordering Services.

I am locked out of my account, what should I do?

Please wait 21 minutes for your account to reset.

I forgot my password.

If you forget your password, you can get a password reset.

  1. Press "Forgot Password?"
  2. Enter your 9-digit ID, and then follow the instructions to create a new password.
I don't remember my ID

If you forgot your ID, you can look it up.

NOTE: Your account must be current.

  1. Go to SJSUOne ID Lookup
  2. Enter your last name, the last four digits of your Social Security number, and your birthdate.

If it has been more than a year since your last semester, you will need to submit a help request with the SJSUOne Account Help.

I still need help with my ID and/or password

Current Students and Employees: For assistance with your ID and/or password, please complete the SJSUOne Account Help.

Alumni: If it has been more than one year since the end of your last semester, you will not be able to reset your password. Instead, submit an SJSUOne Account Help request.
