What You Need to Know

  • No-cost loaners are available
  • Includes laptops, accessories, and a wide range of audio/visual equipment
  • Scannable Tower Card required for all checkouts
  • Items must be checked out in-person
  • Equipment is available on a first-come-first-served basis

Hours

 

Fall/Spring Hours

Mon - Thurs: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Fri: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat & Sun: CLOSED

Winter/Summer Break Hours

Mon - Fri: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat & Sun: CLOSED

During Winter & Summer break class sessions, the Student/Intern will need to provide one of the following:

  • Proof of enrollment in a class (green slip) or employment at SJSU
  • Proof that the equipment is needed for a class project & during class time
  • A letter from the professor on official SJSU letterhead, specifying: Need, duration, & equipment (please see letter requirement)

Note: If a typed letter from an instructor is required from checkout, please be sure the request is on official SJSU department letterhead and includes the following information:

  1. Department name
  2. Instructor name and signature
  3. Your name and student ID number
  4. Equipment needed
  5. Duration
  6. Purpose/project
  7. Location
